In February of 2008 I joined the company as a Deputy Manager (Media Marketing), responsible for handling operations and driving sales revenue for a month-old business unit - SEAL (the National contact centre of HT Media, catering to both advertisers and readers). The job at hand was very challenging, absorbing and a great learning experience and we had to deal with various teething issues along with quick-paced expansion and growing targets. HT Media has been a constant partner in my growth. I had my leaders’ staunch support when I decided to undertake a self-development program to get trained and certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt professional.
In April 2010 I was promoted to Manager (Media Marketing). This experience has been a great professional journey for me. Each quarter has brought with it a new set of innovations and initiation, both at the people as well as business levels. I was given the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business – revenue targets, technology, processes, and people development.
